Hey girl, I never get to just chat with you anymore so I came across this and thought I would just say hi! I really miss our "old" times of just hangin' out and talking about "southern"stuff-ha!I bet you are gettin' anxious for that baby to get here! Don't you go wanting to move away just to be around that grandbaby! It would look kinda funny with all of Sierra Pines Church moving right behind ya'll! HA! HA! HA! Love Ya, Sarah Misaique

I love the book of Isaiah where he says"God spoke to His people to reawaken them to His interest in their lives." At this time of the year it will comfort to know that God is still the same today as he was back then, and He love me.

Hi Linda! Again, sorry I didn't get a chance to say good bye. I really appreciate your very encouraging and inspiring response to my concert. It means a lot to me. I'm so grateful to God that he let me sing at the retreat and I appreciate your ministry. It shows that you work with people on a personal level. Stay in touch. God's blessings to you and your family! Lena

Linda,
I love "Fixing Stupid" it's true reality in a humorous sense and it catches the eye. Maybe the tag line could read something like "restoring the choices we make". I can't wait until next October when you will be with us for our 20th Year Women's Retreat. Maybe we'll have a part for you to play in entertainment. "Dolly" was fantastic when you played her! God Bless You, Linda.

Hi Linda! Thanks for sharing God's word and His unfailing love! "FixingStupid" is a great name for your blog-it really cracked me up- but I'm thinking it may offend the sensitive soul. My 2nd choice is "Better Choices". Simple & to the point. Looking forward to whatever you choose! Love in His name! Launa

I love "FIXING STUPID"...It seems to fit in with your wit and humor and I can't wait to hear you speak again..I attended the Bear Creek Church retreat two years ago when you were the speaker and it changed my attitude and made me a better person. Thank you for that!

"Linda's Savvy choices" Sounds great to me..

September 13, 2010

I vote for "Fixing Stupid" because that's what the Word does when you take all the trappings of spiritual mumbo jumbo out. It fixes your "stupid". Or maybe it just appeals to my sick sense of humor. Keep it real!! :)

Christine Lowry

September 11, 2010

Any of the names sound great, except don't do "Fixin Stupid". "Linda Live" might be cute.:0)

September 10, 2010

For your blog I am suggesting:
Fixing Fears w/ Peace ~ Linda Live. The last thing I want to be reminded about are my everyday "stupid" mistakes.

Sue

September 10, 2010

I am not very creative Linda, when it comes to names. I like the 'Bling from the King!' name............

Hey Girlfriend!Listen- I heard a great line for a quick-fix book:Quit Burnin' The Bush You're Try'in To Fix! You could fill it full of a bunch of silly "Quick Fixes"! Let me know what you think! Linda, I love you- and you know why-huh? Sarah

I like "fixing stupid".

September 9, 2010

I love "Fixing Stupid" with a tagline of "Live, Laugh and Love Life Regardless!" It's something that Everyone can relate to! If I think of something else, I will certainly log back on. I've sent this to my girls on the Retreat committee. I'm sure one of them will come up with something too...they're so creative. Can hardly wait until next year! It is our 20th Anniversary and how appropriate to have Bling From the King as a celebratory Retreat!

Jennifer Trier

September 9, 2010

I think the blog should be called "Linda Live" and Either "Savvy Choices" or perhaps "Choose Wisely"...I don't really like FIXING STUPID. Plus, your website is Linda Newton Speaks so Having it be called Linda Live would go well with that (branding yourself). :) That's my two cents worth. Hope all is well! Love and Miss you! Jenn (Currie) Trier

I really "fixing stupid" only because we all need fixing, no one is exempt. Nancy

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. They are always uplifting!

September 9, 2010

OK, so I think that "Fixing Stupid" made me think you were calling yourself stupid...but I like the idea of helping others make better choices....

LindaLive can go in more directions...you can use it for a variety of announcements and ministry opportunities, in addition to helping people to make better choices (fixing stupid).

How about just LindaSpeaks.blogspot.com...I like LindaSpeaks...or LindaWrites...or LindaLetters...or LindaRocks...hmmm....

I think what the post modern generation needs most isn't necessarily blog with a catchy post modern name, but a blog with good, solid advice. And Miss Linda...you certainly are good at that!

Julie L Whitney

September 9, 2010

What about something along the lines;

"If it hurts.... stop doing it!

A smart way to make better choices."

September 9, 2010

lol My mom always says "God writes straight in crooked lines" I know I have sifted thru scripture that eludes to this sentiment, but it fits our 'tuthren roots!!!! Perhaps, God RIGHTS straight in crooked lines???

September 9, 2010

Well I like "Fixing Stupid" by Linda Newton, but when I prayed about it, I came up with "Better Choices Makes For Better Ways". I hope I this was of help to you. Please letme know what you choose. Love you my friend!!!

September 9, 2010

Okay, so Fixin' Stupid certainly got my attention. I love that one. Look at you now. I say no more "techno tard" for you....way to go!!! You're comin' along just fine.

September 9, 2010

Hi Linda,
I like what Martha and Sally came up with. I think it should be Live, Laugh and Love -with the tagline- Life lessons with Linda. I think that would be encouraging, thought provoking, and caring to your readers!
Thanks, Marly

September 9, 2010

Well what just came to me for your spot is are you ready.......Live, Laugh and Love with Linda!! I hope it helps. It just came to me because you are teaching how to live and laugh but most of all love each other. Love you so much. Martha

Sally J Walker

September 9, 2010

I was thinking: FIXING STUPID with the tag line, Learning Life’s Lessons with Linda Live

But then I read Jennifer's suggestion and I think you could incorporate the word "laughter" in there too.

How about: FIXING STUPID with the tag line, "Laugh and Learn - Life Lessons with Linda Live"

Jennifer Davis

September 9, 2010

I think your blog title is in your goal. Laugh & Learn w/Linda or
Choosing to Laugh & Learn...Making Good Choices for Everyday Living.
May He title your blog as He directs your humor.
Blessings!

Linda - I will be with you the end of September, 2010 at the Groveland, CA Retreat, leading 1-2 Workshops during the weekend. I am looking forward to meeting you and hearing more of "your story". Thank you for the story about restoring the desk - it was timely. I loved your reference to Randy Alcorn's book "Heaven" as I am in the midst of reading it right now! See you in September - Marcy Pederson
